Shadowspear is an interesting new card from Theros Beyond Death that enables a new variant of the Black/Green food decks, along with the powerful Mythic Polukranos, Unchained. We can focus more on the grindy card advantage cards and rely on these to help us finish the game.

Polukranos, Unchained is a sweet card that needs a home, and this deck could be it. It’s a pretty efficient creature at its base rate, and gives you the upside of more creature interaction if needed. It really shines in the grindy games that this deck seeks to create, letting you escape it multiple times and dominate the board.
Shadowspear might be a somewhat unassuming new card, but it’s actually huge. A large part of the reason that Vivien, Arkbow Ranger is so good is simply the ability to grant trample to some of the overstatted huge creatures available in Standard. This can be the difference between a stalled board and simply ending the game with Polukranos, Wildborn Preserver, or Wicked Wolf. The access to lifelink makes it much easier to deal with mono red, and the indestructible text could even be relevant against opposing God creatures.
After these exciting new additions, the core of the deck is still the insanely grindy Green/Black food engine. These are all quality cards that work well with each other and mean we should have action every game. Trail of Crumbs in particular ensures that we see the specific pieces that we are missing.
The list above eschews red entirely from the Jund food build that is more commonly played to make the manabase better, but we could simply adopt the Polukranos and Shadowspear tech and still run the powerful Korvold that comes with Jund.
